- Future business focus to lie on large-scale integrated photovoltaic
plants - Enerparc AG to become external project partner
Over the past business year systaic AG, Düsseldorf, has continued to expandits expertise in the development and construction of greenhouses with roofintegratedsolar systems. The first projects for the agricultural industry havealready been implemented. “In future the main interest of investors will not liein conventional photovoltaic open-space installations. It will tend towardsintegrated solutions,” Michael Pack, Chief Executive Officer of systaic AG, isconvinced. “In response to the changed demand situation SYSTAIC has lostno time in shifting its emphasis to solar-integrated industry solutions”.
systaic AG is thus implementing its strategy of concentrating on integral solar
systems in the industrial solutions sector as well. In the past business year it
has consistently developed the corresponding know-how. In order to do
justice to the growing importance, from the business year 2010 onwards the
former business unit “SYSTAIC Solar Power Plants” is to be renamed
“SYSTAIC Industrial Solutions”.
Major projects will continue to be the main source of revenue of systaic AG in
the next few years. For this reason total revenue and operating profits from
this sphere of activity without minority interests are to remain to the full extent
in the group. In addition, the value chain was revised, as the variabilisation of
costs is one of the main factors of success in project-oriented structures. For
this reason the SYSTAIC Executive Board has decided to convey its complete
share in Enerparc AG, which has hitherto functioned in the SYSTAIC Solar
Power Plants sector, to the Enerparc management. Future collaboration will
be realised on the basis of a co-operation agreement which will also cover
current projects. Thus all projects in the SYSTAIC Industrial Solutions sector
will be handled by systaic AG or its foreign subsidiaries.
